We’re thrilled to announce that Straight Arrow Products, makers of the legendary Mane ‘n Tail, is expanding — in a big way. We’re kicking off Phase 2 of a four-part buildout at our Forks Township facility, marking a bold next step in our growth story.
This exciting development, announced in 2019, marks a major milestone in our company’s journey — one that sets the stage for even greater things to come.
Why This Matters
Over the next 5–6 years, we’re transforming our space to streamline production, boost innovation, and bring our operations under one roof. One key change: our pre-weigh department will relocate from Bethlehem to Conroy, right next to our main manufacturing area. That means less time (and cost) moving raw materials back and forth — and more time making awesome products.
This expansion isn’t just about square footage; it’s about building a more efficient, high-powered future — all rooted in the heart of the Lehigh Valley.
A Milestone in the Making (Just in Time!)
This project hits at just the right moment: we’ll be celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2020. From humble horse shampoo beginnings to a full-blown haircare phenomenon, we aren’t forgetting our roots — we’re doubling down on them. What started in 1970 has grown into something that serves horses and people, worldwide.
Our owner, Devon B. Katzev, honors that legacy every day. He’s kept things grounded; valuing every team member as part of an extended family as we’ve grown. Now, we’re bringing more jobs, more excellence, and more pride to Forks Township, Bethlehem, and the entire Lehigh Valley.
