"How do you use this several years ago? I just thought about it again and decided to go back to using it. It looks very good healthy for my hair love it. I heard the shampoo works good on horse on horses. That’s why their tails are so long. I just decided to use it and I love it."
"This is the best shampoo I have ever used. I also use it as a body wash. Hair, skin and nails require the same cleaning products in my estimation. This fits the bill for each. Smell heavenly, cleans like there is no tomorrow! My skin, hair and nails seems to retain the natural oils and moisture, and is clean at the same time. That is what all the other beauty products profess to do. This product lasts me almost a full year with taking a shower daily. You do not need much to clean your entire body, as it is thick and does what it is suppose to do. It is down to the skin, hair and nails clean!"
"I love mane and tail. Use it for my dogs, for my husband and myself! The smell is great and clean. My hair is always nice and it gets all the yuck out when I use too much products and it's gentle enough to use on my two dogs who have different coat types even for my oily girl and dry boy. Bottle size is enormous and great value since our whole family uses it and it always foams up a great lather so you can use it diluted or concentrated. The conditioner is equally great, and we also love the Detangler spray, and the Extreme Detangler spray!! They all smell wonderful and feel great and moisturizing as well as sleek and clean."

"We really like this shampoo, and have been using it for years. My husband was concerned when he saw an article with a list of products that may contribute to hair loss. The article noted that SOME Mane ‘n Tail shampoos and conditioners contain DMDM hydantoin, a formaldehyde releaser that has been linked to hair loss and scalp irritation. However, that ingredient is not used in this, the original formula shampoo. I’m giving this product only 4 stars due to the fact that when I opened the Amazon packaging I found a fair amount of the shampoo all over the outside of the intact bottle. It appears that the seller knew this was likely to happen as they had sealed the bottle in a Mylar envelope before placing it in the shipping box. I can only guess at the cause for the leakage, and am disappointed at the wasted shampoo. I’m not returning it as I specifically bought this item because I wanted the smaller bottle, which is easier to handle in the shower than the larger size. I will refill this bottle with shampoo from one of the larger sized bottles in the future."
