"Works great to prevent and lower the incidence of fungal ringworm in my herd of cavies. I bathe them weekly. Make sure to leave the lather on several minutes as directed. Does not affect the texture of Teddy coats. I also use it any time my Dobermans need a bath, with good results."
"This spray is a life-saver! My Springer spaniel had hot spots galore (they were bad, oozing, red!) and I was desperate to find a cure for them. I had tried EVERYTHING. Taking him to the vet became a $300-500 ritual and was a joke. The vet would prescribe the same thing each time: a soak, oral antibiotics and a topical antibiotic powder. When I found Mane n Tail, I thought, "this product has been around for a long time. It must be for a reason." I used this spray along with the Medicated Shampoo and conditioner. After the first bath and application of this spray, my poor pooch finally had relief and was able to sleep through the night without his extreme itchiness. I have kept using the spray for any flare ups. It dries out those hot spots like nothing else. Thank God for Mane n Tail!!!"
"I like it. I have heard that you can grow your hair with mane and tail products. I have five dogs, so I enjoy the shine for me and the dogs. I don't use it for medicated, but it's always good to make sure there's no infections or anything."

"Bought this for my White German Shepherd with really Bad skin allergys. (looked like a 1/2 hairless rat) Vet had no solutions that worked. I have tried almost everything on her with no luck what so ever. several weekly (every other day) and 1 bath a week with the Mane-N-Tail medicated shampoo. Hair is now showing really good signs of regrowth by the end of the 2nd week of use. Will continue to use and will try to update this post on progress."

"I used/use this shampoo on my 2 golden doodles bathed once every 5-6 weeks. 1 doodle has patchy mild dry/itchy skin that even after baths still looked dirty, I began using this for that reason, however after 2 baths (10-12 weeks), her skin was completely pink as it should be and healthy and she no longer was an itching maniac. I used/use only the shampoo directly applying to skin and coat adding small amounts of water with the sprayer to massage it completely over my dogs entire body (avoiding getting into eyes), massaging for about 7 minutes then setting a timer for 10 minutes as the bottle directions state. Rinse thoroughly, towel dry then combing and grooming. It leaves the fur on my golden doodles conditioned, soft and manageable. They are groomed regularly therefore tangles and mats are not issues. This is a wonderful shampoo with conditioners and it does exactly as it states. I believe the cost for the amount of product is a great value in comparison to many more expensive products that do not offer the benefits of this shampoo. My dogs have shown no signs of discomfort in the entire year that I have been using this. I will continue to use it as the prevention of common bacterial ailments is important to my family as well (i.e. ring worm etc.). Shampoo is colorless, almost odorless, and not too thick that it makes for difficult massaging. Leaves my dogs smelling clean not "perfumey" , which they like better as well (they don't roll in smelly stuff like they did when I used the "perfumey" shampoos). Note; more severe cases of ailments may need to see a vet, however, directions state this is safe to use once a week until conditions improve. Hope this helps others."
